Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a licensed builder?

Yes we are. As well as being fully licensed ourselves, we only used licensed and experienced tradespeople on our projects.

Can I buy my own bathroom accessories, such as tiles, screens, a bath, mirror and vanity?

Yes, we understand that everybody has different budgets, preferences and looks they are trying to achieve when doing a bathroom renovation. So we want to give our customers the freedom to make the right selections for their renovation and not have to fit within “package” boundaries.

Once we have been awarded your bathroom renovation we will send you through a list of the fittings you will require, which will help you with your selection process. Once you have decided on all your fitting selections we can manage the rest for you, including placing the order and managing the delivery of the items so that they onsite on day 2 of the renovation.

Alternatively, if you prefer you can order and manage the delivery of the fittings to site yourself. If so, we ask that you have these all available on site by day 2 of your project.

Can you help me create a design that will work in my home?

Definitely! Chris has years of experience in bathroom renovations and knows exactly what will work in any space. You should feel free to discuss your ideas with Chris when he comes out to do our quote. He will want to understand what currently works for you in your bathroom and what doesn’t. Understanding your vision will help Chris not only help you come up with a design that suits your lifestyle and makes you happy, but quote it more correctly as well.

Do you offer a design service to help with fittings and tile selections?

Design advice is part of our service to you. However, if you are really stuck on ideas or short on time to shop around for inspiration, look through magazines or social media – and we can work with those images.

Do you tile over tiles?

No. We guarantee our workmanship for ten years and therefore prefer to do it right the first time. Your old tiles could be subject to movement over time, which may cause major problems down the track. Removing wall and floor tiles and linings means we can check the existing plumbing and re-sheet walls. This ensures a clean surface we can waterproof and to which we can adhere tiles.

Can you do more than just bathroom renovations?

Because we are professional builders (holding a current builders license) as well as bathroom specialists, our expertise and experience extends to building work of all types, from knocking down a wall or changing a window, to a kitchen renovation, laundry renovation, or an entire home renovation.

How long will my bathroom renovation take to finish?

Most typical projects take 15 to 20 working days, however certain factors can cause renovations to take longer than anticipated. Factors such as weather and selection choices are just some examples. Cold or humid weather may mean waterproofing and rendering take longer to dry. Fully-framed screens can take three to five working days from measure, while frameless screens can take up to 10 working days. We provide you with a detailed timeline before beginning your project.
